Under the care of Doug and Christy, the project operates with a foundation of five grounding principles: ’Āina, ‘Ohana, Akahai, Lawelawe, and Makakū. The space is intended to remain open to the public, with future visions of evolving into a larger retreat or bed and breakfast centered around this interactive piece of art.
