Before moving to Atlanta in 2001, Mary studied Animal Science at Eastern Illinois University and gained experience through pet sitting, managing a boarding kennel, and working at pet stores. She opened The Fuzzy Dawg in 2008 in Johns Creek and has since operated under the philosophy of “humanity over vanity,” prioritizing the comfort and health of each pet. In 2020, Mary transitioned the business to a home-based salon to better focus on personalized care and client needs.
