Inspired by her aunt's former inn in Confluence, she spent a year developing the vision for the inn.

The inn sits on the west side of town, a short stroll from the Great Allegheny Passage trail, on a peninsula where the Youghiogheny, Laurel Hill, and Casselman Rivers converge. It is close to Ohiopyle State Park, and Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, and Polymath Park are a short drive away.
