Additional activities feature gem mining using water-powered flumes to find emeralds, rubies, sapphires, topaz, amethyst, quartz, moonstone, and garnets. An on-site lapidary studio is available to cut raw gems into jewelry. Gold panning is also offered separately, including ore and instructions. Group rates are available for parties of 25 or more with one week’s notice.
