Northside Tree Professionals

Northside Tree Professionals is a Tree Service in Atlanta, GA, located at 3116 Chestnut Dr #102. Since 1968, the company has cared for Atlanta homeowners and their trees, offering a full range of services including tree trimming, tree removal, emergency tree removal, storm cleanup, crane services, tree inspection, and plant healthcare. They provide 24-hour emergency service and cover the entire northern half of Metro Atlanta, serving areas from Spaghetti Junction to the Big Chicken, and from Acworth to Austell, Decatur to Dunwoody, Marietta to Midtown, and everywhere in between. The business holds a 4.90 rating based on customer reviews.

The company emphasizes best-in-class safety practices paired with the expert insight of a team of multiple certified arborists. Their approach to tree care avoids unnecessary services, focusing instead on providing exactly what trees need. For complex removals where regular equipment cannot safely access a tree or the removal zone is too tight, they utilize crane services to lift tree sections straight up and away from property. This process involves careful positioning of the crane, establishing work zones, coordinating with utility companies, and ensuring safety protocols are followed before cutting. Skilled climbers section the tree from top to bottom while the crane operator moves each piece to a landing zone, followed by complete cleanup that includes debris removal, stump grinding, and area restoration.

In addition to removal and trimming, Northside Tree Professionals offers plant healthcare services that go beyond basic watering. These programs include custom nutrition plans, disease prevention, pest management, and soil treatments designed to address the stresses of urban living. The process begins with a comprehensive health assessment of the trees’ current condition, soil quality, and environmental stressors. Based on this assessment, they develop a targeted healthcare program that may include deep-root fertilization, disease treatments, or soil amendments tailored to the specific needs of each tree and property. This customized approach helps trees look better, live longer, and add more value to the property.

Northside Tree Professionals is known for its professional service and safety standards, reflected in its high customer rating. The company has served the Atlanta area for decades, maintaining a reputation for efficiency, politeness, and leaving work areas spotless. Customers have praised the office staff, sales team, and crews for their ability to handle difficult projects, such as removing trees around lakes or grinding down large wood piles, with precision and care. The team is noted for arriving on time, working quickly but safely, and providing excellent communication from the initial estimate through to completion.

Rooted in Atlanta’s identity as a city in a forest, Northside Tree Professionals brings specialized expertise and long-standing local presence to every tree care project, ensuring the health and safety of the region’s mature tree canopy.
