Team structures include prep/beginner, beginner/intermediate, intermediate, and advanced groups. Rehearsal requirements vary by level. Prep and beginner teams rehearse approximately three hours weekly, covering ballet and jazz or contemporary. Beginner and intermediate teams rehearse approximately five hours weekly, adding turns and leaps. Advanced teams rehearse approximately seven hours weekly, including two ballet classes, jazz or contemporary, turns and leaps, stretch and conditioning, and competition team tech team rehearsals.

Group castings are sent out in July prior to choreography week. Beginner dancers are cast in one to two group dances. Intermediate dancers are cast in two to four group dances. Advanced dancers are cast in four to six group dances. Solo assignments are emailed in mid-June. Duets and trios are chosen by the choreographers.
