Health and Hope Clinic

Health and Hope Clinic is a medical clinic in Pensacola, Florida, dedicated to providing free primary, preventive, and specialty care to the medically uninsured and underserved. The clinic serves Florida residents who are completely uninsured and meet financial eligibility requirements, offering services including cardiology, dermatology, diabetes education, mental health counseling, laboratory testing, and referrals to community resources. It also operates an in-house pharmacy that dispenses medications free of charge for a patient’s first dose. Founded in 2003 by the Pensacola Bay Baptist Association as a response to unmet healthcare needs in Escambia County, the clinic began as a dental initiative before transitioning to a full medical clinic due to funding realities. Today, it relies entirely on volunteer physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other professionals, with only two part-time employees paid from clinic funds. The clinic provides comprehensive care including chronic disease management, minor office procedures, optometry, orthopedic care, and lifestyle medicine. It is also a certified Narcan® distribution site, helping to address the opioid crisis in the region.

The clinic is located on East Olive Road, approximately 0.4 miles from North Davis Highway and University Parkway, and about 0.7 miles from West Florida Hospital and Ferry Pass Elementary School. It sits near Reubin O'Donovan Askew Parkway and the Stonegate neighborhood.
