Elegant Events by Michalea is an Event Planner in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, located at 721 US-1 STE 105. The business provides modern wedding coordination for traditional and nontraditional couples across South Florida and the Treasure Coast, with availability for travel throughout Florida and beyond. Owner Michalea Smith, a certified wedding planner through the CWP Society, handles vendor emails, setup details, and timeline flow so couples can remain present with their guests. The service includes custom planning without cookie-cutter templates, realistic flow-focused scheduling, contract reviews, and on-site vendor management from first setup to final exit. The business holds a 5.00 rating based on customer reviews.

The approach centers on structural precision and creating timelines to serve as the calm in the room during celebrations. Michalea Smith acts as a wedding director and aesthetic curator, translating bold, personal visions into executed events. The process begins with a vision consultation to learn about the couple’s love story and design aesthetic. Following the signing of a contract and payment of a 50% retainer, clients receive immediate access to a custom client portal containing planning tools and a preferred vendor roster. Eight weeks before the wedding, the team handles all vendor communication and logistics, allowing the couple to step back. The final phase involves professional vendor management, timeline execution, and aesthetic alignment on the wedding day, with day-of coordination lasting up to 12 hours.

The business maintains its standards through weekly continuing education with the CWP Society, focusing on modern event safety, logistics, and planning standards. This training ensures the planner knows how to keep days running safely, smoothly, and on schedule. The team provides support for various wedding elements, including first looks, family traditions, and specific vendor coordination such as catering and dessert tables. The service aims to handle behind-the-scenes adjustments, timeline bumps, and vendor questions so the celebration feels personal rather than a copy-paste template.

Clients recognize the business for its positive rating and the reliability of its certified wedding director. The 5.00 rating reflects consistent praise for Michalea’s calm demeanor, prompt communication, and ability to manage details from the first call through the final breakdown. Customers highlight her role in settling nerves, coordinating vendors to keep schedules on time, and ensuring the day unfolds exactly as planned.
