FL Dogs of Kissimmee

FL Dogs is a dog training business in Kissimmee, FL, located at 3765 Packard Ave. It holds a rating of 5.00 based on customer reviews.

The company offers private classes, obedience board and train programs, puppy training, and overnight pet boarding with a play area, pool, and trainer supervision. They utilize a balanced training approach that combines tools and rewards to build confidence, control, stability, and communication. This method aims to create healthy, fun, and long-term success for dogs while maintaining their individual personalities. The trainers emphasize that working with the owner is essential for success, similar to hiring a personal fitness coach, and they teach owners how to safely use tools like e-collars, described as a tens unit similar to those used by humans, to ensure proper conditioning and results.

During the two-week board and train program, dogs are housed in galvanized kennels with locks, air conditioning, and video monitoring. Each dog has its own water and food bowls, and rooms are cleaned and disinfected daily. The facility monitors dogs' diets and bowel movements, and provides GPS collars for safety. Owners receive constant communication regarding their pet's training and well-being.

Customer testimonials highlight the effectiveness of the training. One owner noted a complete transformation in their dog's behavior after just two sessions, allowing for leash-free trails and fetch. Another mentioned that their previously unruly dog now listens well and no longer pulls on the leash. A third customer described the board and train program as a blessing that enabled them to enjoy their dog in public again. The trainers, including Jessica and Wilson, are praised for their knowledge, helpfulness, and dedication to teaching owners how to continue training at home.

FL Dogs serves dogs of various breeds, including Doodles and German Shorthaired Pointers, addressing issues such as pulling, unruly behavior, and difficulty walking in public. The business focuses on setting owners up for success through proper education and conditioning of their pets.
