**THE STORY** The premium TV mounting and AV installation business serving Colorado Springs, Denver, and everything between. Built on Air Force Security Forces discipline, ten years of operator experience, and finish-grade craftsmanship. Mike Hawkins is the founder. Air Force Security Forces, honorably discharged after nearly 10 years. Built and ran Mike's Moving in Orlando from 2009 to 2019, growing it from nothing to six trucks and seventy thousand a month in revenue through grassroots channels: Craigslist, Groupon, apartment complex outreach, mailers. Ten years of being inside customers' homes every day taught him how to walk into a finished space, work clean, talk to a homeowner with respect, and leave the home better than he found it. When the moving company ended in 2019, he picked up cabinet shop work briefly. The cabinet shop is where a sixteenth of an inch is the difference between a finished piece and a reject. That's where the precision side connected with the operator side. He started I Hang Flatscreens the same year. By choice: one installer, one standard, no franchise rules, no upselling scripts, no racing through three jobs an hour. Today IHFS serves Colorado Springs, Denver, and everything between.
