The business operates as a family-owned and operated entity, founded on the mission to redefine the relationship between humans and dogs. The team includes Juan, who discovered his passion for training after rescuing his Pitbull, Angie, in 2015 and reversing her aggression and fear. Juan gained further experience working at a dog care facility before establishing his own approach, which emphasizes an easygoing personality to handle even the most difficult challenges. Kleyner, another key team member, began pursuing dual-purpose dog training in 2010 and is a certified decoy with knowledge in protection and fundamental animal behavior. He focuses on customized teaching methods, recognizing that no two dogs are the same. Sarah, also part of the team, brings an early interest in dogs from her childhood in New Jersey.

Asger K9 offers both overnight stays with trainers and interactive day supervision, ensuring dogs are socialized and reinforced in new behaviors while under full-time care. The trainers treat the dogs with the same care as their own personal pets, aiming to bring each dog to its full potential through years of research and experience. The approach relies on a well-balanced training theory upheld by research into animal behavior, utilizing cues, markers, and release words. This method is designed to help owners understand their dog’s behavior and respond correctly, fostering a bond that extends beyond the title of house pet to include protector, companion, and helper.

The business is known for its positive rating from customers who have reviewed it, highlighting the effectiveness of its personalized training solutions. Clients have noted the team’s knowledge and dedication in helping them socialize rescued dogs and manage aggressive behaviors. This reputation is built on the specific expertise of its trainers in handling unique canine personalities and providing tools for long-term behavioral success.

Asger K9 combines specialized protection and detection training with compassionate, personalized care to help Golden Glades dog owners build stronger relationships with their pets.
