He completed an internship at Kern Hospital with a focus on surgery, then practiced in the Greater Detroit area alongside his uncle, Dr. Gerald Isenberg, before relocating to Florida in 1984. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. He has published articles in professional journals, including in the Michigan State Podiatric Medical Association's annual report, and has spoken about foot health to community groups throughout the Northwest Florida Panhandle. The practice takes a minimally invasive approach to foot and ankle problems, treating surgery as a last option, and is affiliated with Baptist Hospital.
