Liquid Gold Tattoo

Liquid Gold Tattoo is a tattoo shop in DeLand, Florida, located at 115 W Rich Avenue in the heart of downtown. The studio works with clients on custom tattoos, touch-ups, repairs and cover-ups, and its artists cover styles including realism, traditional, neo-traditional, fine line, black and gray, and full-color work. Walk-ins are welcome every day from open to close on a first come, first served basis depending on artist availability, and appointments for consultations or tattoos can be made by phone or in person. Pricing runs by the piece for smaller, simple tattoos and by the hourly rate for larger work, and the studio accepts cash, debit and credit cards. The studio was founded by Eli Tobias, who owns Black Chapel Tattoo Studio in Winter Park, downtown Orlando and downtown Cocoa Beach. Eli has over a decade of industry experience and won the award for Orlando's Number One Tattoo Studio three consecutive years, in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Liquid Gold's tattooists are licensed by the Florida Department of Health and certified in bloodborne pathogen safety, and the studio itself is licensed through the State of Florida's Health Department and the City of DeLand.

Beyond tattooing, Liquid Gold operates as an art gallery, showing painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media from local, national and international artists, with work available for purchase during studio hours. The gallery hosts art openings, special events and shows, and artists interested in displaying work can reach out about wall space. The studio also runs weekly promotions, including Work It Wednesdays discounted rates for longer sessions and Tattoo Trade Thursdays, when items of value such as electronics, firearms, vehicles or collectibles can be traded for tattoo credit. Liquid Gold is open noon to midnight every day, and body piercing is coming soon. The studio is hiring custom tattoo artists, body piercers, apprentices, guest tattooists, permanent makeup artists and henna tattoo artists.

The shop sits just off North Woodland Boulevard, a short walk from Pioneer Park and Chess Park, about a tenth of a mile from the Thomas Cajetan Kelly Administration Center, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office and the Museum of Art.
