A yantra is a sacred geometry symbol developed from ancient wisdom, representing the divine energy of the universe, and the studio's name draws directly from this tradition. The word "yantra" comes from the Sanskrit root "yam," meaning "to control, bind, curb, or influence." Yantras are forms, simple or complex, designed toward a particular purpose, providing a source of supreme knowledge. They serve as tools for meditation, mantra recitation, and prayer, helping practitioners focus on intentions and channel the universe's energy into the body. They can be created from materials such as copper plate, wood, glass, cloth, and paper, ranging from simple geometric forms to patterns with thousands of interlocking parts.

Yantras trace back to the Vedic period in India, originating over 5,000 years ago. The Vedas, the sacred texts of Hinduism, were the first to mention them. Initially used as tools for ritual worship, yantras later became associated with mystical diagrams and magical spells before their use spread throughout Asia and eventually to the West. In the twentieth century, they became popular among new-age spiritual seekers and continue to be used by people of all faiths and backgrounds to connect with divine energy. Geometrically, yantras are made up of several figures including squares, circles, triangles, lotuses, and points, and they typically have three parts: the Bindu, the Shringara, and the Chakra.

The positive rating reflects a business that has earned the trust of those who have experienced its work, standing as a point of connection between the ancient tradition of sacred geometry and the Norwich community seeking yoga and meditation practice.
