Canyonside Campground is a campground in Bellvue, CO. Nestled in the Roosevelt National Forest along the Poudre River, it offers fully furnished cabins, full hookup RV sites for rigs up to 30 feet, and tent camping. The property also includes a mountaintop area for weddings and events, providing a rustic setting for special occasions.
The campground's cabins each carry a distinct theme. Cabin 5 is the largest, a patriotic-themed unit with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, and a combined living room with a couch that converts into a bed; it sleeps 11. The Honeymoon Cabin is designed for two, featuring an open-concept bed, kitchen, and living room with a queen bed and reclining loveseat, plus a two-person swing overlooking the river. The Wildlife Themed cabin offers one bedroom, one bath, an open-concept kitchen and living room with a futon bed, and a porch with a table and chairs; it sleeps 6. The Garden Themed cabin has two bedrooms with full beds, a kitchen with a fridge, electric stove and microwave, and a living area with a fold-out couch; it sleeps 6. The Western Themed cabin includes two bedrooms, one with a four-poster queen bed and the other with a full and twin bunk, plus a kitchen, living/dining area, and a sleeper couch. Guests can hike surrounding trails, watch for wildlife, or fish in the Poudre River and local lakes.
The Poudre River is Colorado's first Wild and Scenic River, known for fishing, whitewater rafting, and nature walks. The campground provides access to Fort Collins and its downtown, breweries, and cultural attractions, as well as Red Feather Lakes and Rocky Mountain National Park.
