Heart-Beat Dance Academy

Heart-Beat Dance Academy is a dance studio in Westmont, CA. Offering over 125 classes per week, the academy serves dancers ranging from preschool to adult. Their diverse curriculum includes ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, modern, musical theatre, hip hop, acro, and dance conditioning, including specialized training in turns and leaps.

Established in 2002 by director Teri Nash, the academy focuses on providing a technical foundation through a faculty of highly qualified instructors. The studio maintains a supportive, family-oriented environment designed to challenge dancers to reach their full potential through discipline and hard work. Beyond the standard September through June season, the academy hosts summer camps, industry intensives, and technical workshops between June and September. Their annual June show is held at the Carlmont High School Performing Arts Center. The academy's facilities at the Barrett Community Center feature five fully equipped, climate-controlled dance rooms with raised and sprung marley flooring, as well as dedicated lounges for both dancers and parents.
