Hot Ink Tattoos is a Tattoo Shop in Vallejo, CA, located at 818 Marin St. Since 1999, the studio has served Vallejo, Benicia, American Canyon, and the rest of Solano County, as well as clients traveling from the North Bay. It holds a rating of 4.80 based on customer reviews.

The shop prioritizes custom tattoos over one-size-fits-all flash, working with clients on placement, size, and style for traditional work, color pieces, black and grey, lettering, memorial tattoos, and cover-ups. Cover-up sessions involve discussing what to hide and what to include in the new design. Appointments are recommended for larger pieces, though small tattoos and some piercings may be available as walk-ins if an artist has time. Body piercing is offered alongside tattooing, with Rio handling ear, nose, and other standard placements. The shop provides information on jewelry options and aftercare.

Founded in 1999 by a local artist, the shop was purchased in 2007 by current owner and artist Rio. The facility features modern contemporary decor with plant life and a busy fish tank. The artist roster includes Bingle, Greg, Mishayla, Austin, and Alex, each with their own specialty. Nick Manzano specializes in black and gray tattooing, while Alex “DH” Iaccarino focuses on neo-traditional, lettering, and black and gray work. Bettie is a seasonal guest artist specializing in American traditional tattooing. Typical hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The studio is recognized for its positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it. The staff is described as talented, knowledgeable, and eager to work with each client.
