Hobbs Auto Spa

Hobbs Auto Spa is a car detailing business in San Luis Obispo, CA. Operating since 2012, the shop provides custom detailing solutions for classic and late model vehicles, working on cars that need more than a high volume car wash. The business specializes in ceramic coatings and paint correction through machine polishing, and serves customers in SLO County and Northern Santa Barbara County. Hobbs Auto Spa holds a 5.00 rating based on customer reviews.

The shop is owned and operated by a car enthusiast who focuses on giving busy vehicle owners an exclusive customer experience aimed at maintaining, adding value to, and protecting their vehicles. Services are available at the physical location in San Luis Obispo or as mobile services for work that does not require a controlled environment. Hobbs Auto Spa is an IDA Certified and Skills Validated Company. Detailing work covers both interior and exterior cleaning, with options including steam cleaning, ozone odor removal, hot water extraction shampooing, and engine bay cleaning as an add-on. Ceramic coatings are offered as a long-lasting protective layer that chemically bonds with a vehicle's clear coat, shielding paint, glass, plastic trim, and wheels from UV damage, bird droppings, bug splatter, and other environmental wear. The business also performs car polishing and scratch removal to restore a dull finish to a showroom shine, and notes that polishing is a key preparation step before applying ceramic coatings so defects are not sealed under the protection.

The shop sits on Granada Drive, about 0.1 miles from South Higuera Street. San Luis Obispo Creek runs roughly 0.3 miles away, and the State of California Department of Fish and Game and the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board are both within about 0.4 miles of the location.

With a perfect customer rating and over a decade of experience serving the Central Coast, Hobbs Auto Spa has built a reputation for skilled paint correction and ceramic coating work in San Luis Obispo.
