The inspection process includes a full visual evaluation, moisture and humidity readings using meters and thermal imagers, and the collection of air, surface swab, tape, or bulk samples for lab analysis. Most residential inspections take about 45 minutes. The written report describes suspected moisture areas, provides humidity readings, and explains lab findings regarding mold type and concentration. The firm collects minimally four air samples, typically three from inside the home and one control sample from outside, with additional samples available. Reports include recommendations for structural and moisture issues. Clients receive reports within two business days and can speak directly with the owner or inspectors for follow-up questions. The team includes Rick Bruce, Tyson, and Casey, whose combined experience exceeds 80 years in building and remodeling. The business is locally owned and operated, not a franchise, and is a family business with roots in San Francisco dating back to the 1800s.
