Cabinets 101 operates on an educational philosophy, prioritizing client guidance over sales pressure. Stan Wahl works directly with customers, avoiding commissioned sales staff to ensure honest, experienced advice. The showroom features solid wood cabinet construction, explicitly avoiding particle board or MDF materials. Selections span dozens of door profiles, wood species, and stain or paint finishes. The business pairs cabinetry with a range of countertop surfaces and sink options, including undermount, drop-in, and farmhouse styles, helping clients coordinate materials for cohesive design.

Installation is handled by a partner company run by Russell Wahl, Stan’s son, allowing for a unified service experience from material selection to professional installation. The business offers renovation packages and provides detailed, itemized estimates to clarify project costs upfront. Additional services include storing cabinets for clients until they are ready for installation. The company was established in 2014, emerging from Stan’s prior experience as a remodeling contractor completing fix-and-flip projects, rental upgrades, and custom home builds across the region.

Clients value the personable, pressure-free environment and the expertise provided by the owner. The consistent quality of work and materials has earned the business its Diamond Certified designation, a credential reserved for companies with high ratings from verified customers. The family-run approach and direct involvement of the owner distinguish the showroom from big-box retailers and online vendors.
