Coachella Valley Judo and BJJ is a martial arts school in Palm Desert, CA. Founded in 1987 by Glen Heggstad, the academy has evolved from its early beginnings at the Palm Springs Youth Center into the largest and most successful training facility in the region. The academy features a highly skilled team, including 21 black belts, and offers 24 classes per week. The curriculum is designed to promote physical fitness, self-defense, and character development through the study of the "gentle art" and scholastic wrestling.

The academy is located on Sheryl Ave, near the White Water River and the Performing Arts Center. It is a short drive from Palm Desert High School and The Golf Center.
