Integrative medicine uses an evidence-based approach to treat the whole patient, addressing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs together. It combines conventional approaches with complementary therapies to support health and healing, and it focuses on the whole patient rather than a single illness or disease. A range of techniques falls under this approach. Acupuncture uses thin needles to maintain the flow and balance of the body's energy and may help relieve pain. Certified Chinese herbalists use formulas drawn from a traditional Chinese medicine text containing thousands of herbs, minerals and other extracts. Chiropractic doctors perform soft tissue adjustments and manipulate the spine and joints. Culinary medicine combines the science of food, nutrition and medicine with cooking, and may use special diets including vegan, low-carb and low-FODMAP to improve wellness. Holistic psychotherapy uses evidence-based therapies to improve mood, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. Massage therapy uses soft tissue manipulation and body movement to promote health and well-being. Reiki is a method of energy healing that restores the body's natural energy fields, and yoga and tai chi combine specific postures and movements with breathing to unify mind and body. These techniques support the body's natural ability to heal and help reduce stress.

The practice sits on Greenville Rd, about half a mile from Lake Haussmann and roughly a mile from Patterson Reservoir. Patterson Pass Road and Greenville Road are both within about half a mile, the South Bay Aqueduct is about a mile away, and Fire Station 20 is just under a mile from the location.
