Jose Leon opened the school in 2019 to meet the demand for Jiu-Jitsu training in the area. His competition record includes wins at the IBJJF Master’s Worlds and IBJJF Pans, along with a bronze medal at the IBJJF No Gi Worlds. The school started with 30 students and expanded to a larger building in August 2020. It has since grown to 150 students and added wrestling programs to its curriculum. The team includes highly experienced instructors who are dedicated to helping students grow and share their knowledge.

The facility is situated on 6th Street, just steps from Hollister City Hall and the Hollister United Methodist Preschool. It is about a tenth of a mile from the Granada Theater and Gavilan College Hollister. The school is also near San Benito Street and 4th Street, placing it in the central part of the city.
