Big Bear Shores Rv Resort

Big Bear Shores RV Resort is a Hotel in Fawnskin, CA. This five-diamond mountain RV resort is located along the shores of Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains. The property offers full-hookup RV sites designed for long-term or short-term stays, alongside private lake access, a sparkling pool and spa, and a tennis and pickleball court. Guests can enjoy nearby fishing, golf, hiking, boating, and backcountry exploration. The resort is situated minutes from Captain John’s Marina and the Discovery Center.

The resort distinguishes itself through a model of individually owned lots rather than traditional management, allowing owners to personalize their spaces with custom decks, built-in countertops, and outdoor dining areas. This approach creates a diverse collection of beautifully curated outdoor living spaces with expansive parking and premium outdoor areas. Many lots are nestled under mature trees or perch along the shoreline, offering varying degrees of privacy and views of the lake or surrounding forest. The community maintains meticulously kept landscaping and a shared commitment to quality.

A Sales and Rentals Office assists visitors with reservations, property questions, and general support. The resort also facilitates lot sales for those interested in owning a piece of the community. The property is open year-round, subject to weather and road conditions. Guests are permitted to bring up to two pets with no size or breed restrictions. However, RVs or trailers must be a minimum of 26 feet in length to stay. Fire safety rules prohibit woodburning or charcoal firepits; guests must bring their own BBQ, as existing lot fixtures cannot be used. Check-in ends at dusk, and gates close once the sun has set.

The resort holds a 5 Diamond rating, reflecting its status as an exclusive, gated lakeside retreat. It provides a unique blend of natural beauty and elevated comfort for travelers seeking an alpine experience.

Big Bear Shores RV Resort combines private ownership with resort amenities to offer a distinctive lakeside stay in the heart of the San Bernardino Mountains.
