Georgia's School Of Dance

Georgia's School Of Dance is a dance studio in Escondido, CA. The studio provides high-quality training for dancers ranging from age 1 1/2 to adults. Their diverse curriculum includes ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, acrobatics, lyrical, ballroom, and musical theatre, as well as specialized classes such as children's combo, pilates, technique, turns, and leaps.

As the oldest dance studio in North County, the school has been a part of the Escondido community for over 60 years. Founded in 1953 by Georgia Copeland, a former MGM starlet who performed alongside legends such as Fred Astaire and Lucille Ball, the studio carries on a legacy of excellence. Following Georgia's passing in 1998, Sue Gilson, who worked with the founder for over 25 years, assumed operations to continue providing professional dance technique to students in North San Diego County.

The studio is located on E Grand Ave, near the Patio Playhouse Community & Youth Theatre.
