The locally owned and operated business employs licensed, insured, and certified arborists with more than 15 years of professional experience. They specialize in the removal and care of palm trees, including Areca, Pygmy Date, Bismarck, Mexican Blue, Dioon, Queen, and Mediterranean Fan Palms. Bassett Tree Service provides stump grinding and removal services, as well as dead tree removal for hazardous or decaying trees. Stump grinding uses specialized equipment to grind the visible stump into small wood chips below ground level while leaving much of the root system underground to naturally decompose. Full stump removal extracts both the stump and the major root system from the soil. The company also performs dead tree removal when trees pose serious risks due to weakened branches, unstable trunks, or structural instability. Signs of a dead tree include brittle branches, peeling bark, deep cracks, and fungal growth. Professional removal may involve taking down the tree in sections using ropes, rigging systems, and bucket trucks to protect nearby structures and landscaping.
