Butcher Paper BBQ is a catering and barbecue restaurant in Opelika, Alabama. The business serves wood-smoked barbecue, sides, sauces, and breakfast, with catering for events of any size and a food trailer available for on-site service. Its menu includes brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, smoked sausage, and jumbo wings, offered as sandwiches, plates, and a la carte portions. Plates come with two sides, house pickles, and a choice of white bread or house corn bread, and the kitchen makes five distinct sauces. The restaurant began in 2015, when Mark Coxwell started smoking barbecue with a borrowed smoker and shared his rubs, sauces, and smoked meats with friends and at local events around Opelika. In 2016 he built his own smoker, named Riker, from propane tanks and basic tools, and the operation grew into a mobile food unit that appeared at concerts and events. By early 2018 it had built a following in the local barbecue scene, and on September 7, 2018, Butcher Paper BBQ opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant at 128 Columbus Parkway. A second smoker, LaForge, was added later to expand capacity. The restaurant offers dine-in, takeout, and delivery, and catering can be arranged by email or phone.

The restaurant sits on Columbus Parkway, about half a mile from the Opelika Post Office and about six-tenths of a mile from the Opelika Public Library. The Geneva Street Historic District is roughly seven-tenths of a mile away, and Fox Run Parkway is about eight-tenths of a mile from the location.
