OSE Surgery Center

OSE Surgery Center is a surgical center in Birmingham, Alabama. The facility provides a wide range of specialized medical and surgical services, including ENT surgery, orthopedic surgery, gynecological procedures, urologic surgery, foot and ankle surgery, hand and wrist surgery, ophthalmic surgery, and GI endoscopic procedures. The center also offers general surgery and pain management services, such as injections for chronic pain.

Since its inception in 1985, the center has expanded from a 6,000-square-foot facility with 13 staff members to a 32,000-square-foot center employing over 90 staff members. The facility features six operating rooms and nine procedure rooms. OSE Surgery Center was the first freestanding surgery center in Alabama to be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, a distinction it has maintained. The center utilizes board-certified physicians to provide high-quality, cost-effective outpatient care.

The facility is located on Medical Park Dr E within the Professional Office Building #52 on the St. Vincent’s East campus. It is situated about 0.3 miles from St. Vincent's East hospital and a short drive from Gadsden Highway, Roebuck Plaza Elementary School, and Tom Bradford Park.
