Owners Bill Byl and Andy Milauskas started the business with the goal of providing safe, professional, and high-quality arboricultural services to the residents of southcentral Alaska. Both have nearly 20 years of industry experience and are International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborists and TRAQ tree risk assessors. The business is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. Bill holds ISA credential MI 3991 A and Andy holds PN 6243 A. Both are also State of Alaska DEC Certified Pesticide Applicators.

The team performs specialized tasks such as pruning ornamentals, managing beetle-killed spruce, and executing technical, close-quarter removals using creative rigging solutions. For land-clearing projects, they utilize a 100hp, high-flow hydraulics John Deere 333G compact track loader coupled with a Diamond Mowers mulching head to handle brush and create driveway or building pads. They offer site assessments and recommendations for tree health and longevity. To protect trees from the Spruce Bark Beetle epidemic, they offer insecticide injections, which provide a localized application to minimize pesticide drift. They also utilize biodegradable vegetable-oil-based bar oil in their equipment and are exploring the use of battery-powered chainsaws.

Their removal services include options to leave debris for client processing, to chip and haul brush while leaving larger wood on-site, or to provide full debris hauling with stump grinding. Stumps can be ground out to a depth of 6 inches below the surrounding grade, with surface roots chased and ground out as practical. They serve neighbors in Chugiak, Eagle River, and Girdwood. The business focuses on tree health and longevity through proactive pruning plans and transparent upfront quotes.
