The current provider team includes a Chief Medical Officer, a Medical Director, and a Chief Clinical Operations Officer, alongside a diverse group of family medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, pediatric nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical pharmacists, dental hygienists, dentists, podiatrists, and behavioral health consultants including licensed social workers and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners.

The clinic is situated at 3522 W Lisbon Ave, intersecting North 35th Street. It is located just steps from Transition High School and the historic 37th Street School, both within a short walking distance. The Bethune Community Garden is also nearby, roughly a quarter mile away.

The organization is governed by a board of directors, 51% of whom are patients of the health center. Progressive Community Health Centers engages in health center advocacy, promoting the interests of community health centers by raising awareness and educating the public and policymakers. This includes regular conversations with local, state, and federal policymakers, visits to Madison and Washington, D.C., and engagement with federal legislative priorities such as 340B funding and workforce issues.
