Renaissance Chiropractic Center

Renaissance Society is a community organization in Sacramento, CA. In partnership with Sacramento State University, this organization offers participatory lifelong learning and community engagement for people of all ages and backgrounds. Members can engage in programs across a wide variety of subjects through Zoom, on campus, off campus, or in hybrid formats, with the ability to watch recordings of many programs at a later time.

The organization focuses on helping curious adults learn, connect, and share knowledge and experience. Beyond educational programming, the society provides ways to build community through shared interests and events. The group also supports Sacramento State through volunteer work with students, food pantry donations, and scholarships. The history of the society dates back to the fall of 1986, following the initial proposals of the late Robert Heilman and the development efforts of Dr. Margaret McKoane.

The organization is located on University Avenue, near the Tacoma Mall.
