Dos Rios Winery, LLC is a winery in Rio Grande City, Texas. The vineyard offers award-winning wines, including Chardonnay and Dos Rios Rouge, which is crafted from Lenoir grape juice. The winery is the first and only establishment of its kind in Starr County. The vineyard's history began in 2011 when Delfino Garza, Jr. and Nora Garza started growing grapes on the property, which includes the first harvest of Black Spanish Le Noir grapes in Rio Grande City in 2012. The fifteen-acre vineyard is situated on a former farm property adjacent to the Rio Grande and the Rio San Juan. The winery's work involves collaboration with experts from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and the USDA to produce high-quality wines from grapes grown 100% on-site.
