Agricenter International Inc

Agricenter International Inc is a nonprofit agricultural research organization in Memphis, Tennessee, dedicated to advancing agricultural science, education, and community development. Located on Walnut Grove Road, the organization operates the world’s largest urban farm, spanning 1,000 acres within the heart of a major metropolitan area. It serves students, educators, farmers, researchers, and the public through hands-on STEM education programs, field trips, classroom presentations, and workshops on farm safety and veteran training. The farm hosts 1.5 million visitors annually and educates approximately 20,000 students each year in science, technology, and environmental stewardship, all aligned with state curriculum standards.

The Agricenter functions as a hub for innovation, housing research facilities, greenhouses, and demonstration plots for crop testing, soil and tissue analysis, pesticide evaluation, organic research, and biostimulant development. It supports agricultural advancement through licensed drone operations, irrigation studies, variety testing, and seed treatments, offering field trial space and meeting rooms for researchers and industry partners. The campus also includes the Innovation District Research Park, which provides flexible leasing options for laboratories, offices, and agricultural testing land, fostering collaboration between science, technology, and farming.
