Camp Sertoma of SC

Camp Sertoma of SC is a children's camp in Pendleton, SC. This week-long residential program serves children ages 7-12 who are underprivileged or who have a speech impairment, or are deaf or hard of hearing. The camp is highly rated by the community, maintaining a 5.00 rating.

The camp is a collaborative effort between Clemson University and SC Sertomans, a partnership that has continued since 1975. During the week, campers participate in various adventures such as archery, sailing, arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, climbing tower, and fishing. The program includes overnight camping where participants cook food over an open flame. To ensure safety and care, the camp provides 24-hour supervision with a 1:3 camper ratio in cabins and a 1:4 ratio during activities. Accommodations consist of comfortable cabins with single beds, and an on-site health center is staffed by nurses who live on-site. Additionally, the camp provides daily nutritious meals in a dining room.
