The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is a Lawyer in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Adoptions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, and the organization does not hold animals or offer trial adoptions. Once an adoption is completed and the fee is paid, the animal must be taken home immediately. Animals may be returned at any point during their life if the adopter is unable to keep them, and a refund is issued within 14 days of adoption for a previously undiagnosed health issue verified by a licensed veterinarian. The adoption process requires the primary caregiver to be present, and children under 5 or existing dogs in the home may be required to meet the animal prior to adoption. Volunteers must be at least 11 years old, with those aged 11 and 12 accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Youth volunteers can help clean cat cages, feed and water cats, bathe puppies, and wash dishes. Board meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6pm and are open to the public.

The facility is located at 409 Bay Street in North Myrtle Beach. Hours are 11 am to 5 pm Monday through Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, with the location closed on Thursdays and Sundays.
