Coastal Dance Centre (Howard Location) is a dance school in Myrtle Beach, SC. The studio provides high-quality dance training and performance opportunities for students ranging from preschool to adults. Their diverse programming includes ballet, acro, broadway triple threat, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, and tap. The school serves those pursuing professional careers in the performing arts as well as those dancing for fitness and recreation.

Founded in 2005 by Artistic Director Liza Mata, the school is the home of the Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre. The faculty consists of experienced professionals dedicated to technique, creativity, and expression. Students in the conservatory program follow the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, and the school offers classes in RAD grades and vocational syllabus classes. The facility features state-of-the-art sprung floors with marley flooring, mirrors, lighting, air conditioning, and sound systems. Alumni of the program have been accepted to prestigious institutions such as The Juilliard School of Dance, Canada’s National Ballet School, and the Dutch National Ballet Academy.

The studio is located on Howard Ave, situated within The Market Common and a short distance from Valor Memorial Garden and Stage Left Theatre Company.
