Ruby's Academy

Miss Ruby's son, Burns Forsythe, worked for the Charleston County School District for nearly 30 years and served on the school board for more than four years. Mrs. Ray holds a master's degree in education and an educational specialist degree in school psychology. She is a nationally certified school psychologist as well as a licensed psycho-educational specialist in SC. Both she and her husband come from families of educators who taught in SC schools. The center's staff are educators who believe in caring for the whole child, valuing character development as much as academic skills like letters and numbers.
