Grace Music School

Grace Music School is a music school in Mt Pleasant, SC. Serving Charleston and the Lowcountry, the school provides music lessons for all ages and skill levels. Their instructional offerings include piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, drum set, percussion, violin, viola, cello, woodwinds, brass, and bass guitar.

The school was established as a family business by John and Geri Heaphy along with their daughter, Grace, originally opening their first location in Fort Salonga, NY, in 2011. The founders brought their passion for music instruction to the Mount Pleasant area with the opening of this third location in September 2025. The curriculum focuses on foundational techniques and healthy musical habits, such as teaching vocalists healthy techniques for lifelong enjoyment and helping cellists develop strong fundamentals to play without tension. In addition to lessons, the school provides instrument rentals.
