With the help of his son, Dr. Ric, and support from AA and church communities, the program grew into a 45-bed residential facility. In 2002, a new facility was acquired that could house 150 men, marking the formal establishment of Turning Point of Greenville. Mr. Fred passed away on June 8, 2011, but his vision continues to guide the organization. Since 1995, the center has helped over ten thousand people gain a new start in life. The philosophy of removing obstacles and providing a safe environment has remained consistent throughout its history.
