Governor's Mansion

Governor's Mansion is a historical landmark in Columbia, SC. Serving as both a residence for SC governors and their families and a repository of historical artifacts, it has hosted over thirty governors throughout its history. The mansion features public rooms filled with treasures such as silver, china, furniture, paintings, and documents that illustrate the state’s rich heritage. It also serves as an entertainment venue for visiting dignitaries, offering a warm welcome to emissaries from around the world.

The grounds of the Governor's Mansion encompass nine acres in the heart of Columbia's historic district and include two additional houses: The Lace House and The Caldwell-Boylston House.
