Robert G. Gellin, DMD, MHS

Robert G. Gellin, DMD, MHS is a Periodontist in Charleston, SC. Specializing in dental periodontics, the practice provides services including periodontal exam and diagnosis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, surgical periodontal therapy, and the placement of dental implants. Dr. Gellin also focuses on dental extractions, oral pathology, and pre-surgical therapy for dental implants.

Dr. Gellin joined the faculty in 1985 and serves as a professor in the Division of Regenerative Sciences & Periodontology within the Department of Advanced Specialty Sciences. His clinical expertise is supported by his background in the U.S. Public Health Service and his advanced training, including a Master in Health Sciences from the Medical University of SC. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he also contributes to the field by teaching pre-doctoral dental students and Periodontics residents in the clinic on a weekly basis.
