Lowcountry Quarterback Academy

Lowcountry Quarterback Academy is a sports club in Charleston, SC, specializing in elite quarterback training and development. Founded in 2019 by Danny Croghan, a former Charleston Southern University quarterback, the academy serves middle school, high school, and college quarterbacks across the Charleston area. The program focuses on proper footwork, mobility, and throwing mechanics, building a solid foundation in fundamentals before progressing to advanced principles based on specific offensive and defensive systems. Danny Croghan, a Charleston native and Bishop England High School graduate, brings extensive experience to the role, having led his high school team to a state championship and earned Big South Conference Freshman of the Year honors at CSU. After spending three seasons as a varsity offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Bishop England, he has led the academy for the past six years, training hundreds of athletes from across SC, including those from Charleston, Hilton Head, Columbia, and Greenville.

The academy offers private one-on-one sessions designed to maximize individual potential, with a detail-oriented, high-energy plan focused entirely on the client. Coaches have played in college and coached at the high school level, ensuring that training covers skill development, physical drills, and mental techniques. The goal is to help players achieve specific milestones, such as starting on a middle school team, making first-team all-region, or earning a full college scholarship. The approach emphasizes attention to detail, ensuring that each player is well-rounded and ready to reach their full potential as a football player.

The facility is located at 600 Bucksley Ln Unit 106, situated near Seven Farms Drive and River Landing Drive. It is about a tenth of a mile from Charleston Fire Department Station 18, Postal Haus, and Philip Simmons Park, and approximately a fifth of a mile from the Daniel Island neighborhood.
