Heather Giordanella’s legal career includes representing clients in products liability, personal injury, consumer protection, federal and state false claims, breach of contract, real estate financing, mechanics’ liens, insurance coverage, and employment-related retaliation and sexual harassment. For more than two decades, she served as a neutral in a federal pharmaceutical multidistrict litigation and a related nationwide class action settlement, a role that led to her appointment as Special Master. In that capacity, she assisted parties in resolving discovery disputes and acted as a liaison between the district court and national and individual counsel. Heather is an honors graduate of Central Connecticut State University and earned her law degree with honors from Temple University Beasley School of Law. She completed the SC Bar’s Family Court Mediation Training Program and previously served as an associate and partner at a boutique litigation firm before joining one of the largest law firms in the United States. She is a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers, where she served as President in 2011, and currently volunteers as a mediator for the Upstate Mediation Center in Greenville, SC.
