Founded in 2006 by Michael Wood-Lewis and Valerie Wood-Lewis, this organization operates regional networks of online neighborhood forums to help neighbors connect and build community. The mission is to foster well-connected neighborhoods that are friendlier, healthier, and more active. The platform allows members to share information regarding lost pets, car break-ins, service recommendations, school budgets, and local events. In Vermont, the team includes approximately 30 employees who manage online communities, provide member support, and develop mobile, web, and email applications. The service area for these forums includes every community in Vermont, as well as parts of Massachusetts and New York, such as the greater Glens Falls and Lake George region.
