Hejamada

Hejamada is a campground in Port Byron, NY. Located in the Finger Lakes region, the park provides a peaceful and private setting for family-friendly leisure camping. The campground serves seasonal, monthly, weekly, and multi-day guests, offering a variety of sites suitable for tents, trailers, motor homes, and slide-outs.

Spanning more than 82 acres of wooded and open landscape, the campground features 200 large campsites. Many sites are equipped with 30-amp or 50-amp service and water, while pure tenting sites are also available for those seeking a more primitive experience. For those without their own equipment, the park offers self-contained trailer rentals. Amenities include a recreation hall with a snack bar, full-service bar, dance floor, and game room featuring billiards and darts, as well as a swimming pool. The grounds also provide laundry facilities, a general store stocked with essentials like propane, bait, and firewood, and a free lending library. Since the early 1970s, owners Rob and Beth Larson have maintained a neighborly atmosphere that welcomes pets and all age groups.

Hejamada is situated on Mcdonald Rd, approximately 20 minutes from the north end of Cayuga Lake.
