Light House Bistro

Light House Bistro is a restaurant in Annapolis, MD. It serves American comfort foods, fresh seasonal ingredients, and globally inspired dishes, with options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dietary needs. The bistro operates as a social enterprise launched by The Light House Homeless Prevention Support Center, providing hands-on training, job experience, and living-wage employment to individuals facing barriers to work, particularly those transitioning out of homelessness. Brunch is served daily from Wednesday through Sunday between 8 am and 2 pm.

The team consists of graduates from workforce development and culinary training programs who are gaining real-world experience to build resumes and careers. Since 2012, more than 80 percent of participants have received job training and career services. The bistro provides over 750 meals each week to those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity through The Light House. Every dollar spent reinvests 100 percent of profits into supporting individuals in need and strengthening the local community. Customers can also purchase signature granola made from scratch by program participants. The venue hosts private events, including baby showers, corporate gatherings, and family celebrations, in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Light House Bistro is located on West Street in the heart of Annapolis. It sits near Market Quay and Bay View Heights neighborhoods. The location is about a quarter of a mile from Water Pond, Park Place Park, and Brown-Leanos Memorial Park.
