The Salisbury Salt Marsh Wildlife Management Area is also about a mile from the campground. Pettengill Reservation is nearby, at a distance of about a mile. Shad Creek is located about a mile from the site. All visitors must check in and register at the office. Check-in time is 2:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 pm. Day pass holders must leave by 9:00 pm.
