Allegro Dance Theatre

Allegro Dance Theatre is a dance studio in Radcliff, KY. The studio provides a highly disciplined, classically based professional dance education utilizing styles from American-based ballet companies, including Cechetti, Russian, French, and Royal Ballet. The studio serves dancers by providing a structured environment designed to instill knowledge of the art form and a love for dance both in the classroom and on the stage.

The studio is led by Director Carol E. Zagar, who holds a degree in dance from Butler University. Her extensive professional background includes serving as a principal solo dancer and ballet mistress for the Michiana Ballet, as well as performing with the Evansville Ballet and the Stephen Foster Story. Advanced ballet and pointe classes at the studio are by invitation only, and occasionally, staff and company members from the Louisville Ballet serve as guest and master teachers for these advanced sessions to help students gain further expertise.

Located on North Wilson Road, the studio is situated near the Sanders Spring Reservoir and the Native Plants Garden. It is a short drive from the intersection of North Dixie Boulevard and Knox Boulevard.
