Illinois Wesleyan Arnold Health and Counseling Services

Illinois Wesleyan Arnold Health and Counseling Services is a medical clinic in Bloomington, IL. The clinic provides on‑campus health services at no charge to all registered Illinois Wesleyan University students. Services include sick‑visit appointments, minor emergency treatment for cuts, burns, sprains and strains, and diagnostic testing for conditions such as COVID‑19, strep, mono, influenza, blood glucose, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, hemoglobin and urinalysis. The clinic also offers allergy and birth‑control injections, medication for anxiety, depression, antibiotics and over‑the‑counter remedies, referrals for specialist care and laboratory or radiology testing, and loans of medical equipment such as wheelchairs and crutches. Immunization requirements for incoming students are administered in accordance with Illinois state law.

The clinic’s mission is to provide high‑quality, comprehensive health care that supports students’ academic and intellectual potential while encouraging healthy lifestyles. Care is delivered by an Advanced Practice Nurse, a Registered Nurse, and a part‑time Carle Director. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am ,  12:00 pm and 1:00 pm ,  4:30 pm, located in the lower level of Magill Hall, north door. Appointments are scheduled by phone at 309‑556‑3107; after‑hours calls are addressed the next business day. Emergency situations are directed to 911 or IWU Campus Safety at 309‑556‑1111.
