Idaho Dance Academy

Idaho Dance Academy is a dance studio in Star, Idaho. This boutique classical ballet school offers children’s classes in classical ballet, tap, and jazz. The academy focuses on classical ballet training rather than competition-style dance, providing an environment where students can learn skills to help them thrive physically, socially, and independently. The academy is currently celebrating its 21st season. Owner and instructor Miss Amber brings 43 years of dance experience to the studio, including 28 years of teaching. Her professional background includes studying with top national choreographers and serving as the children’s rehearsal director for Ballet Idaho and Eugene Ballet. The studio's approach emphasizes personal engagement and compassion, designing each class with the individual dancer in mind to foster confidence, self-awareness, kindness, and responsibility. The instructional team also includes Mictr Meao, an instructor with 10 years of experience. Classes are held Monday through Thursday between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm from September through May.
